Am I supposed to set the timer to say an hour, sit down, close my eyes, and then go through The Six-Point Preparation during the session or do I just review it quickly on my way to my meditation spot and if it’s the former is it just like The Four-step Transition where I take as much time as I need until my mind settles into it or feels satisfied? Just a little confused with this specific technique. Thank you for the replies in advance guys 🙂

    Hi Eric,

It is recommended that you do the six-point preparation when you first sit down to meditate. It will probably take more time at first, but the time will probably shorten as you grow more familiar with the practice. I recommend taking as much time as you need to feel satisfied. It is also an important practice.
